How does peace play out in our lives? In a four-step process, you'll explore and share yourself, your fears, your community, and your vision for making peace.

In doing this, you'll use your mobile phone or digital camera to send us photos and words for a mosaic that will become a component of The Missing Peace as it continues its travels around the world.

To begin...as easy as 1-2-3

   1. Register 2. Play 3. Visit

From your mobile phone using TXT (SMS) messaging, or from email, send the plain text message "IDEAS" to peace@tmpp.org. (Send the word IDEAS - nothing else.) If your phone won't do this, or if you just prefer a simpler way, you can play online on the web.

Within a minute you'll receive instructions (by SMS/TXT) and you can start Making Peace yourself, using your mobile phone. There are four sections or "stages." You can participate in any, none, or all of them. It's up to you. (To stop playing, just stop sending messages or replies.)

While you're playing or afterward, visit the Making Peace web site to view the mosaic, or go to Yerba Buena Center for the Arts to see your photos as a part of this community-contributed work of art. Over the run of the exhibition, we'll add new ways you can add to and explore all of the contributions.

Did you start yet?
